LAST THREE ELECTIONS
When we began the Doing Our Bit campaign in June 2013 only the Greens and United Future had explicit policy on increasing our refugee quota. Since then every elected political party in the country has come out with a higher quota.

* Quota will grow to 1000 in July 2018. Before then an emergency quota adds 250 places per annum.
Māori Party wants an unspecified increase beyond 1000.
Act wants increase based on 1987 figure (800 places) adjusted by population growth since then (46%).
